the stylish foto studio
Born in placid „Bergisches Land“ near Cologne, Paul dreamt very early
of exploring the world and when he was only 7 he first attempted to
ride his puky bicycle all the way into the city. In the end he got brought
back by a policeman who found Paul in the not so exciting „Overath“
five miles away from his parent‘s house. The turning point in Paul‘s
life was his eighth birthday when his grandfather presented him a
Revueflex E reflex camera. There came a youth nearly fully spent in
dark rooms, only interrupted sometimes by photo safaris on his bike or
small moped. Shy attempts to delight his female classmates with nude
photography, didn‘t really lead to success. Whilst studying photography,
he made his living on working for the Cologne zoo as a photographer.
With the earned money he travelled a lot and his enthusiasm
lead him to submit as a photo journalist at the GEO magazine. He was
hired immediately. Sometimes exhausted but always full of new impressions Paul now pretty often returns to the Wohngemeinschaft and
delights his housemates with well-planned dia-slide-shows. Let‘s see
when the the canvas will be hung up next.
